Job Description:
A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer in the
Mid-Atlantic region (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Implement and troubleshoot Static Application Security Testing
(SAST) tools
Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and software
development processes
Validate vulnerabilities and remediate technical issues identified
by scanning tools
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
experience
3-5 years of security engineering experience in the Information
Security industry
Proficiency with SAST tools such as Semgrep, Snyk, and Veracode
Experience in software engineering, ideally full stack
development
Strong scripting and automation experience using programming
languages
