OVERVIEWThe Mac Security Engineer will work with the EndPoint Engineering team and support approximately 450 Mac users within the organization. This is a high-impact role requiring a Mac expert who will assess the current Mac infrastructure and develop solutions to improve and secure the environment. Key responsibilities include optimizing the JAMF tool, configuring Active Directory Connector for seamless cloud login, and implementing "Golden Image" hardening to ensure the security and consistency of virtual machine image templates. The team has recently upgraded most Macs to OSX14, providing a solid baseline for further improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess the existing Mac infrastructure and recommend best practices for efficiency and security.
  
• Optimize the JAMF tool and troubleshoot issues to enhance Mac device management.
  
• Configure Active Directory Connector to enable cloud-based login access.
  
• Perform "Golden Image" hardening to secure and standardize virtual machine templates.
  
• Collaborate closely with the EndPoint Engineering team, which supports all end-user devices, including in an Azure virtual environment.
  
  
  REQUIRED SKILLS
  
  
• Extensive experience managing and troubleshooting Mac systems at a senior/consultant level.
  
• Proven ability to deploy, configure, and optimize JAMF for enterprise-level Mac management.
  
• Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) experience setting up and managing AD Connector for cloud login.
  
• Familiarity with Azure environments, particularly in relation to endpoint integration and management, is a plus.
  
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while providing recommendations and implementing solutions.
  
• Ability to ask insightful questions, engage team members, and drive improvements collaboratively.
