Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at AdventHealth Littleton. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, providing excellent patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts, and vascular exams.
• Prepare patients for exams, provide information and instruction, and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
• Observe patients and equipment during procedures, report and document unusual occurrences, and record patient conditions.
• Correctly input charges and required data for procedures and supplies utilized during exams.
• Demonstrate effective time management and prioritize workload to meet productivity requirements.Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Licensure, Certification, Registration: ARDMS, RDMS (OBGYN) or (AB) or (BR) or ARRT, R.T. (S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS, RVT(VT) with OB, or ABD required within 1 year of hire.
  • ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS).
