Job SummaryThe Massage Therapists at The Springs Resort & Spa are to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction through the thoughtful administration of Spa treatments. All Associates are empowered to create a unique, caring experience.Job Description:-- Provide various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other specialized modalities based on guest preferences and health conditions.-- Assess guest needs and customize treatments to deliver a superior wellness experience.-- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including treatment rooms and massage equipment.-- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort throughout the session.-- Collaborate with other spa staff to provide a seamless and relaxing experience for guests.-- Recommend appropriate spa services and retail products to enhance the guest's wellness journey.-- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and wellness trends to offer cutting-edge treatments.Education/Formal Training:-- High school diploma or equivalent required.-- State licensure in massage therapy required.Experience:-- 2+ years of experience as a licensed massage therapist, preferably in a resort or spa environment.Knowledge/Skills:-- Proficiency in a variety of massage modalities and a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology.-- Strong communication and customer service skills.-- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.-- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.-- Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.
