• Company field employees who are paid mileage or have a leased vehicle are eligible for a retention bonus plan during two bonus periods.As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
  • Provide home-based speech therapy to patients having communication, swallowing or cognitive difficulties due to an illness or injury
  • Work as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT and OT, focused on the patients plan of care and established goals
  • Observe and evaluate a patients ability to communicate, swallow and process information
  • Conduct patient assessments, document progress and ensure patient goals are met
  • Assist with mouth, breathing and swallowing exercises, fluency, articulation and reading
  • Educate patient and family on plan of care, therapy goals, safety practices and self-careA few must-haves for Home Health Speech Language Pathologists:
    • Masters or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology and active SLP license in Colorado
    • Minimum of one (1)yearof speech therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare
    • CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
    • No Covid Vaccination Required
    • Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)
    • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
