We're a financial services business focused on the millions of Americans who no longer want to own rental property but don't want to sell. Our first product is a 721 Exchange for Single Family Rental landlords - we exchange individually owned properties for shares in our Fund. Over time, we'll do this for other types of real estate, other Funds, and offer landlords with other tax-efficient exits.We're fortunate to be backed by a great group of venture capital firms, including Andreessen Horowitz, Human Capital, Susa Ventures, Box Group, and Primary Venture Partners, as well as a large network of strategic investors, including 1Sharpe Ventures, Redwood Trust (NYSE: RWT), and the former CEOs of Invitation Homes and Opendoor.The PositionFlock is hiring a Founding Product Manager as the Company embarks on its next stage of growth. You'll be the first and only Product hire - a true builder with extreme ownership who will be an amplifying partner to Engineering, Sales, and Ops. Your job will be to articulate what a winning product looks like, rally the team to bring it to life, and iterate on it until we've won the trust of the millions of retiring landlords who need a cost-efficient, seamless exit.Flock's Exchange is a first-of-its-kind financial solution that most of the market has never heard of. Buying our product is a complex, emotional, and significant act of trust that requires getting to know the ins and outs of our team, our Fund, and our strategy. Your job will be to build optimized and personalized journeys so that the millions of people who badly need Flock can understand it. Customers will count on you to access the right information at the right time to make the best decisions; our team will count on you to surface these insights internally so Sales and Ops can make the best decisions.Responsibilities

  • Create more effective human-driven sales processes by establishing telemetry and feedback loops
  • Synthesize leadership's vision and learn from customer feedback to build unique customer journeys
  • Lead the creation of a product roadmap that prioritizes the highest impact features with alignment from cross functional partners
  • Establish the right cadences and processes to ensure high quality Engineering execution and timely product deliveryQualifications
    • A true builder: experience building complex products and ready to get hands dirty to do it
    • Excellent storyteller: can quickly learn a new concept and show it (rather than tell)
    • Obsessed with details and user journeys: lays out the micro problems that need to be solved and uncompromising in the ability to meet stakeholder's needs
    • Energized by partnering with sales and operations team
    • Some background or passion for financial products or real estate
    • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in a role with strong GTM collaborationDetails
      • Comp: The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role in NYC is $200K-$300K OTE +, target equity, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Compensation for other locations will be based on experience.
